People with persistent heartburn or acid reflux will be offered a ‘sponge-on-a-string' test in select pharmacies in England for the first time. This new pilot will help prevent oesophageal cancer, and follows previous work in community diagnostic centres. tinyurl.com/3hxcdcxa
