It’s surely not about India’s trade with Russia or Russian Oil. What does Donald Trump really want from India?

@NikkiHaley What about EU, they buy more LNG from Russia and you buy Uranium Hexafloride for your reactors?

India should not be buying oil from Russia. But China, an adversary and the number one buyer of Russian and Iranian oil, got a 90-day tariff pause. Don’t give China a pass and burn a relationship with a strong ally like India.

I’ll say again: America needs India, and India needs America. Any direction in policy that strains our strategic alliance is the wrong direction. @POTUS and @NarendraModi, my beloved leaders, this exchange of “muscular verbiage” on tariffs is troubling us all. Furthermore, countless small businesses in the US and India are hurting in this ‘tariff tug of war.” I speak to them daily. Remember, we need each other. Negotiate as real friends. Find common ground. Your legacies and the well-being of our countries depend on this moment. #India #US

A month before prime minister Indira Gandhi was assassinated, the CIA got to know that, in a top secret meeting with her military advisors, she had been briefed on a detailed IAF plan to bomb Pakistan's nuclear facility at Kahuta. The plan was meticulously crafted, awaiting only her approval. While she was giving it a serious thought, sources inside the US Intelligence committee promptly leaked this information to the New York Times, that published it. Delhi was incensed as it led to Mrs Gandhi shelving all thoughts of the air strike on Kahuta. Washington was incensed as it led to Mrs Gandhi knowing of a CIA mole in her office. Meanwhile, our intelligence agencies were called in and large-scale surveillance of everyone connected with the PMO initiated. Tragic fate intervened, however, and Mrs Gandhi was assassinated. But the surveillance continued. Three months after her death, India's largest mole-hunt unearthed a massive spy network that had been passing sensitive information for decades right from inside the Prime minister's office. An officer working directly under the Prime minister was arrested along with a businessman and a dozen other officials. Their trial dragged on for a decade and a half. Many died before they could be convicted. [Declassified from the CIA: CIA-RDP90-00965R000403060-013-8 and CIA-RDP87B00342R000400890-002-5]. Of course, it is a matter of conjecture but Pakistan's nuclear bomb would have remained a dream had we Indians not turned traitors and sabotaged our own plans. What is not a matter of conjecture, though, is that the gates for the enemy are always opened from the inside. But who was oiling those gates? Yes, America. The same America that is now adamant that a rogue Islamic nation cannot ever have a nuclear bomb, this while it not only helped a rogue Islamic nation build a bomb, it actively sabotaged all efforts by India to neutralise this nuclear threat. Nifty Midcap 50 index is down by 1.7%🔻 today. Not a good day for midcaps. People having heavy Midcap exposure in their portfolio's will feel some heat. Such portfolio's will take a hit of about 2-3%🔻 today. #StockMarket #Nifty
