No amount of rolling up your sleeves, or ‘elbow grease’ will erase the fact that fiat currency has bled 95-99% of its value since boomers bought their first houses in the 1970s for the equivalent of 2.5 years’ salary. Anyone buying now, has to pay 15-30 years’ salary, depending on the market.
Younger generations aren’t ‘lazy’.
We’ve inherited a world that is vastly different from the one that the boomers came up in, largely (though not exclusively) because of how they’ve voted for decades.
But casting blame really doesn’t matter at this point, the milk is spilled.
There two things to do - stack bitcoin to escape our dying currency, and separate from Canada to escape our dying country.
