Colombian 🇨🇴 beaches are a scam I went to Santa Marta expecting Valencia or Benidorm 🇪🇸... And instead I got dirty sand, zero infrastructure, and a vendor harassing me every 5 seconds trying to sell me fruit I didn't ask for Sorry but someone had to say it You need to go to places like Tayrona (which IS great), Playa Blanca or Bahía Concha to have a good experience The ACTUAL beach cities of Latin America: 🇧🇷 Rio de Janeiro: iconic for a reason 🇧🇷 Floripa / Balneário Camboriú: Europe-level development 🇺🇾 Punta del Este: clean, organized, world-class 🇦🇷 Mar del Plata: unpretentious and genuinely good Colombia is great for many things Beaches? Not even close

@KellieMeyerNews The regime in #Cuba must be relegated to the ash heap of history! I’m the only Member of Congress born in #Cuba & I represent hundreds of thousands of Cuban-Americans from Miami to Key West. The dictatorship is about to collapse. Trump & Rubio are helping to push them over!

A senior State Dept. official tells me that the humanitarian situation in Cuba is not due to U.S. sanctions. CONTEXT: Cuba plunged into darkness on Monday as its entire electrical grid collapsed leaving 10 million residents in total darkness. "Widespread blackouts have sadly become common for many years in Cuba—a symptom of the failing regime’s incompetence and inability to provide even the most basic goods and service for its people," the official tells me. "This is the tragic result of over sixty years of Communist rule. An island that was once the crown jewel of the Caribbean has plunged into extreme poverty and darkness." The official adds: "As President Trump has said, what is left of the regime should make a deal and finally let the Cuban people be free and prosperous, with the help of the United States." @marcorubio said today "their economy doesn't work. It's a nonfunctional economy." He added, "they don't know how to fix it. So they have to get new people in charge." Rubio is leading talks with Cuba. President Trump has said they'll be doing something with Cuba "soon."

Joe Kent is a real life version of an action film star. He did it all for his country. He lost his wife. Even so, people who never served while calling for war are calling him a spy, trash, and worse.

Bro what is this nonsense? “No imminent threat” Iran was just the number one state sponsor of terrorists around the globe, but yeah they weren’t a threat… It’s so discouraging when people I used to respect flip on everything they once believed in…
Joe Kent@joekent16jan19

After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today. I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby. It has been an honor serving under @POTUS and @DNIGabbard and leading the professionals at NCTC. May God bless America.

@joekent16jan19 @MichaelSkolnik Make note of everyone criticizing this patriot. It’s a good way of separating out who works for Israel and who doesn’t. Every Israel First neocon will now either call him a traitor (what they really mean is that he was disloyal to Israel) or that it’s Trump’s fault, not Israel’s!

Tell that to my Friends That died in Iraq by Iranian backed militias, Iranian intelligence, Iranian terrorism and iranian made explosives… also, I’m not pro ground war or the Iraq ground war, but you best believe that Iran has killed and is responsible for hundreds of American lives since 1979. Iran has been against us since they took over our embassy and tried again a few Years ago. Only the marines prevented this last minute with Trump’s authorization. Saying they weren’t a threat is just a lie and you are only saying it for political gain. I didnt vote for Trump, but your letter is just a false claim of willful ignorance.

Years ago, someone asked me to compare... Rio de Janeiro 🇧🇷 vs. Cartagena 🇨🇴 + Santa Marta 🇨🇴 I straight up started laughing, and the guy got a bit offended Then I explained: There's nothing outside of Brazil in *ALL* of Latin America that can come close to competing with a beach city like Rio de Janeiro NOTHING
