Yes, the United States has the most progressive tax system in the world. The top 1% pay 40% of taxes, the bottom 50% pay 3% of taxes. We can make it even more progressive by zeroing out taxes on the bottom half. It’s a small amount of the total tax revenue but very meaningful to people in this group.

Fact check: Inaccurate. Rep. Thomas Massie referenced Epstein's scandal in March 2022 (on Bill Gates' post-conviction ties to him). He demanded release of Epstein's client list in Feb 2024. His bipartisan Epstein Files Transparency Act push began July 2025—well before recent Trump/MAGA clashes. He's been vocal for years.
