A daily handful of wild blueberries can do more for your health than any multivitamin on the market.
Some of the many benefits include lower blood pressure, improved memory, increased attention span, and tons of others…
They're smaller than regular blueberries but contain roughly double the antioxidants. The difference between them is in the amount of anthocyanins, the blue pigment. Most nutrients can't cross the blood-brain barrier (the protective filter between your bloodstream and your brain). Anthocyanins can. They accumulate directly in the hippocampus and frontal cortex - the brain regions responsible for memory and focus.
Once there, they stimulate BDNF. Think of BDNF as fertilizer for your neurons - it grows new brain cells and protects existing ones from breaking down over time.
A 2024 randomized trial also found that wild blueberry extract prevented the cognitive decline that naturally happens around 2 pm in most people.

I don’t use toothpaste, but here’s what my daily oral routine looks like instead:
Step 1: Oil Pulling (Morning, Afternoon, & Night)
I start and end my day with this.
I use organic, unrefined coconut oil (Dr. Bronner’s or Organics brand).
How I do it:
- Scoop a little on the back of your toothbrush or finger
- Swish for 5–10 minutes
- Spit in the trash - never the sink (trust me, I learned that the hard way)
Oil pulling helps pull toxins from the tissues, freshens breath, reduces bad bacteria, & gives you a clean base before brushing.
This is one of the oldest natural oral healing practices - and it still works.
Step 2: Herbal Tooth & Gum Powder
Next, I use Dr. Morse’s Herbal Tooth & Gum Powder - an herbal blend loaded with:
Baking soda, golden seal root, mullein leaf, white oak bark, myrrh resin, acerola cherry, plantain leaf, diatomaceous earth, spearmint, vanilla bean, & cinnamon bark.
How I use it:
- Scoop a bit on the tongue
- Gently rub it across gums and teeth
- Add a touch of coconut oil to form a paste
- Let it sit for 5–10 minutes before rinsing or brushing
Golden seal supports gum regeneration.
Myrrh tightens tissues.
White oak bark strengthens the gums.

Step 3: Brush and Finish Strong

Coconut oil + baking soda
Add a drop of spearmint or peppermint essential oil
That’s it - clean ingredients, zero toxins, and fully aligned with how the body heals.
I’ve been doing this exact routine for over five years. In that time:

Unpopular opinion:
The best time to eat papaya is when it’s not ripe.
Unripe green papaya contains one of the most powerful digestive enzymes on the planet - papain.
The greener the skin, the higher the concentration. Papain breaks down proteins your gut can't fully process on its own, clears out harmful bacterial overgrowth, helps break down gluten, and reduces inflammation throughout the digestive tract.

- Half a green unripe papaya during your morning fruit fast

Castor oil is just as effective at relieving pain as ibuprofen (without any side effects).
A study on knee osteoarthritis over four weeks confirmed this. The ibuprofen group got results, but they also got side effects, and the castor oil group got the same results without any of the negatives.
That’s because castor oil is about 90% ricinoleic acid, a fatty acid that blocks the same enzymes as ibuprofen, cutting off the signals your body uses to produce pain and inflammation. But unlike ibuprofen, which has synthetic chemicals, castor oil doesn’t cause stress on your liver or gut lining. This reduces the risk of things like stomach bleeding, kidney strain, and cardiovascular risk with prolonged use.

I’ve eaten these, grown them, and raised my boys on every single one.
Here's the full list:
1. Watermelon: Numbers 11:5
Watermelon's citrulline improves circulation naturally, and the lycopene fights inflammation. Before I eat anything, I have 64 ounces of watermelon juice every day.
The Israelites craved them in the wilderness.

If you want to sleep well at night, eat foods that contain tryptophan and magnesium before going to bed.
Here’s why:
Tryptophan is an amino acid your body converts into serotonin, then into melatonin - the hormone that tells your brain it’s time to sleep. Magnesium activates your brain’s natural off switch, the same one anti-anxiety medications target. Keeping your blood sugar stable through the night helps prevent the cortisol spikes that wake most people up at 3 a.m.
Your body has the whole system built in. You just have to feed it the right things.
Eat this 2-4 hours before going to bed:
- Pumpkin seeds - serotonin producers
- Dark leafy greens - spinach and chard are both rich in magnesium

A study on 8,000+ people confirmed that what you eat directly impacts your anxiety and depression.
That’s because serotonin, the primary chemical your brain uses to stay calm, is mostly made in your gut.
And those with anxiety have 30–40% less serotonin than the average person.
In order for your gut to produce the needed serotonin, it needs certain nutrients:
- Magnesium: found in leafy greens, pumpkin seeds, and legumes. More magnesium in your body = less anxiety
- Tryptophan: found in green vegetables. Your body converts it into serotonin.
- Fermented foods: sauerkraut, kefir, and kimchi are all linked to fewer social anxiety symptoms.

The FDA just proved the natural healing community right and is banning all synthetic food dyes by the end of 2026.
They had already banned three in 2025, but this year, they're adding Red 40, Yellow 5, Yellow 6, Blue 1, Blue 2, and Green 3 to the list.
And it's because of what the natural healing community has been saying for years:
- ADHD: 34 studies found synthetic food dyes to be associated with a statistically significant increase in ADHD in children, with effect sizes comparable to lead exposure.
- Cancer: Red No. 3 is known to cause thyroid tumors in male rats.
- They have zero nutritional purpose.
But it’s not over yet, because the FDA quietly allowed companies to label products "No Artificial Colors" even when they still contain titanium dioxide, another color additive.
So, when reading labels, here’s what you should do:
- Read the ingredient list, not the front of the package. Look for "FD&C" followed by any color and number - that's a synthetic dye.
- Swap to foods colored by nature: beetroot (red), turmeric (yellow), spirulina (blue-green), butterfly pea flower (purple).
- For anything labeled "No Artificial Colors," flip it over and check for titanium dioxide in the ingredients.
The natural healing community has been saying this for years, but I’m glad the FDA is finally catching up. There’s still so much work to do to make our food safer and healthier, but this is a massive win.

There's a plant most people have never heard of that can help prevent osteoporosis - one of the most serious diseases for women.
It's called red clover.
For context, osteoporosis kills more women than breast and ovarian cancer, through hip fracture complications.
Here's what red clover does:
It contains isoflavones, which stop bones from breaking down and promote osteoblast activity, the process that builds them back up. As you age, this helps protect your bones from deteriorating.
It also reduces vascular inflammation, specifically a marker called VCAM-1, which is a precursor to heart disease.

I personally take it every day, and here's a simple way you can add it to your routine:
- Red clover tea, 1–2 cups daily
- Standardized isoflavone extract, 40–160mg daily
God has already given us so many natural remedies, and a lot of them don’t get talked about enough. Red clover is one of the most important ones I’ve added to my routine.

Nettle is the best multivitamin in the world.
It’s been shown in studies to help prostate cancer, reduce asthma, lower blood pressure...
