More ways for AI agents to access crypto data efficiently! 🔥 Our team shipped CoinGecko MCP, x402 API, and now the CoinGecko CLI. AI needs reliable, structured crypto data to do useful things. If you're building AI agents in crypto, @coingecko API should be your data layer.
CoinGecko@coingecko

Running crypto AI agents just got 200x more efficient & powerful 🔥 Introducing the CoinGecko CLI — a free, open-source terminal for real-time crypto market data, built for AI agents (such as @openclaw, Claude Code) & developers. #BuildwithCoinGecko See how it works 👇🧵

Consensus Miami 2026 has been awesome! I got so much work done in one week and really glad I got on the plane in the last minute to come by. Bear market conferences are the best as it’s the best time to connect with fellow crypto leaders to collaborate further. One notable presence at this conference are the suits. Crypto is maturing and the institutions are here. After many years of advocating for institutions to come, we finally have them here. They still move slowly, but many of the TradFi firms now have crypto teams and are actively looking at tokenization and how they can adopt blockchain technology. The people attending Consensus Miami are very different from the Asia based conferences that I usually attend. Very distinct US crowd and is a fantastic place for any BD work generally, and especially useful to meet institutional clients If I have to pick only 2 conferences to attend in a year, I will choose Consensus Miami to meet US folks and Token2049 Singapore to meet Asia folks. See you all at the next conference! I now have hundreds of emails and Slack notifications to get back to…

Meeting people at conferences is useful, but the key to making good connections is to follow up after conferences. Many people skip this very important step and miss out on the opportunity to build good relationships. I want to use this opportunity to share how I met my co-founder, @tmlee. 13 years ago I attended a conference called FailCon in Singapore, which is a conference for people to share their failures so others can learn from it. I met the CTO of a local SG startup and received his name card (yea we used to exchange name cards in the old days lol). The important step was I wrote an email to him after the conference to stay connected. Tried to be of value and share things, but was hard being a young inexperienced guy. Did not have much interaction after, but 1 year later, when I made another trip to SG, I emailed him back to catch up for coffee and I visited him at his office. At his office we spoke about Bitcoin (this was 2014), and he introduced me to TM, an engineer in his team who was also into BTC. We exchanged contact and stayed in touch. The rest is we ended up building CoinGecko. Long story short, the important thing is to stay in touch and try to add value to other people, no matter how small, and not expect anything in return. These things compound and will come back in greater ways. That’s one way to increase the surface area for luck

@bobbyong Bear market confs are pure signal. Best move is book 15 min followups within 48h or the “collab” dies in DMs

.@dexscreener if you could respond to our messages you would be doing a service to our industry
Mike D@0xmikedee

.@dexscreener scammers are launching honeypot duplicates of bankr coins (paying dex first) and people are getting scammed of tens of thousands of dollars because of your lack of moderation/filtering

I’m not doing this X thing correctly. I’m the CFO of a company that just announced the largest crypto M&A deal in history, I posted about it, then reposted my own posts and somehow I only gained one follower this week…. Can someone tell me what I’m doing wrong?

.@dexscreener is a pretty scammy business. basically when you launch a new coin you have to pay them $300 to get an image, and links on your coin's page. your first response is well -- i just wont pay them. but you have to because anyone can pay the $300 and upload anything and the process of reclaiming the page is tedious and annoying. what often happens is scammers will pay dexscreener for popular coins and point the website to a phising website that drains your wallet. theres a lot of ways to fix this but dexscreener does nothing because they keep getting paid.

The solution is simple. All of us just rally the community to use @GeckoTerminal. And if there’s any issue, just DM me and I’ll get our team to fix the issue. We can do way better!

Read this post on Linkedin this morning and this made my day! Every day we hustle hard to make CoinGecko one small bit better. Puts a massive smile on my face when users recognize the good work we do and start using CoinGecko 😊

Couple of days back, my Head of Sales, Greg came to my desk and said “Bobby, let’s go to Consensus Miami next week and meet some of our clients”. He probably expected me to be ambivalent about the idea since it’s so last minute, but I said “Let’s go together” immediately! A few hours later we booked our flights, hotels and conference tickets. If you are in Miami next week, let me know. Would love to say hi to you. Bear market conferences are the best place to build connections with industry folks!

It’s 1st May today. A friendly reminder of the age-old adage “Sell in May and go away”. Will this summer be any different or we have had enough with a tough Q1, so there’s nothing more to sell and the toughest time is over for 2026?

@tstereth @RedotPay Thanks for the pointer here. I was looking for this specific info on Paymentscan earlier to figure out where the Tron flow is coming from!

@bobbyong The Tron flows here are largely driven by @RedotPay. Both Tron and RedotPay have a huge foothold in the developing world where crypto cards have the best PMF
