If you believe we haven’t topped, imo the best coins to DCA right now are the ones generating revenue + native token buybacks + multi-chain Also the stablecoins narrative is likely to keep growing and there are a very few projects who will benefit from it $MKR and $AAVE fit both criterias (DAI and GHO stablecoins) If ETH finally start to run, I think they are the easiest x4-5 to hold mid-term $AAVE should go to 10b and $MKR 6-7b and these are pretty conservative targets

If you want to know why ETH has performed so poorly, other than Solana taking the lead in Q4 It’s simply because it has been a consensus for funds to short ETH for the past 6-7 months and never have to worry about the consequences Market goes up? Short ETH to hedge Market goes down? Short ETH because it will tank the most Currently: 3.5b$ shorts on CEX 400m$ shorts on DEX 2b$ shorts on CME futures Which is approximately the same $ amount for BTC while ETH is 1/7th the FDV And that’s only the publicly available data, the real number is probs higher So when you see ETH/BTC green and wonder why we always get a market wide nuke less than 48h after, it’s because market makers can’t let ETH outperform The only way out of this misery is a massive bid from whales on ETH, maybe Bitfinex ETHBTC longs nearing 2021 highs and being at current cycle high is an hint, which could spark a huge short squeeze a la GME 2021 But most likely Monday we get another traumatic event and whole market tanks another 30%

In principle Bitcoin never visit past cycles ATH after breaking out in a bull market (69k) The way people are wishing for low-mid 60s is crazy Majors ex XRP are already sitting at bear market level, same for alts The idea that you can buy fundamentally strong tokens at 2022 prices is too good to fade imo The sole news of Trump organizing a crypto summit and the first reaction of CT is to scream for a sell the news event tell you everything you need to know about current sentiment (in the gutter) In short, I think the downside is largely capped here

Re-allocated my portfolio on alts Main holding in order of size $AAVE $LDO $COW and some $OMNI I think DeFi and ETH resurgence is just a matter of time and coins that are the back-bone of $ETH (top protocols by TVL and most used) + Fully circulating supply + Trump WLFI coins should outperform the rest of betas I also like $UNI $ENA $GNO $ONDO but decided to go for a few concentrated bets only Thinking HTF rather than LTF here My conservative targets: $AAVE 10b (x3) $LDO 5b (x5) $COW 1b (x9) $OMNI 750m (x10) I think we see a DeFi boom in 2025 lead by new Trump admin with easier onboarding process for tradfi capital, Staking ETFs should also come Bidding these coins with BTC.D at 62% and a total capitulation and disgust ressentiment for alts from CT should be an obvious trade in insight
