Das ist Terrorismus. Eigentlich müsste der 25. Zusatzartikel der US Verfassung aktiviert und Trump für amtsunfähig erklärt werden. Aber wir sehen im Iran-Krieg im Brennglas wie korrumpiert die westliche Weltordnung ist!

Über allem schwebt der enorme Rassismus in Österreich, vor allem ein antimuslimischer und antiarabischer Rassismus, der von politischen Entscheidungsträgern von links bis rechts stolz vor sich hergetragen wird und völlig salonfähig ist.

Eine Professorin hätte sich an der Universität Wien von früheren „propalästinensischen“ Aussagen schriftlich distanzieren müssen, um einen Lehrauftrag zu erhalten. Eine (damals) österreichische Nationalratsabgeordnete hat dabei massiv Stimmung gegen sie gemacht. Mehr dazu 👇🏼

Unter den dramatischen Umständen eines Krieges muss die Berichterstattung darauf achten, nicht zur Propaganda zu verkommen. Es ist die Aufgabe der Journalisten, Nachrichten zu überprüfen, um nicht zum Sprachrohr der Machthaber zu werden, und das Leid aufzuzeigen, das ein Krieg stets für die Bevölkerung mit sich bringt: das Gesicht des Krieges zu zeigen und ihn aus der Perspektive der Opfer zu schildern.

Yesterday evening, in Tyr, South Lebanon, NRC's office was badly damaged by an Israeli airstrike across the street and adjacent to a hospital. Humanitarian workers and all other civilians must be protected, always and everywhere. We call upon the parties to respect Humanitarian Law. Hostilities must be proportional and with precaution and strict distinction between military targets and civilians that are protected. What we witness across the region are countless violations of these sacred principles.

The US bombing of schoolchildren in Iran is the biggest single US massacre of civilians since My Lai. The Israeli bombing of Tehran’s oil storage constitutes the biggest single act of chemical warfare against a civilian population in history. Grotesque new depths of barbarism.

The children breathing this air today will develop cancers 10, 20, 30 years from now. And nobody will connect it. Nobody will pay for their treatment. Nobody will be held accountable. When petroleum burns, it releases sulfur oxides, nitrogen oxides, and toxic hydrocarbons into the air. When those chemicals mix with rain, they become SULFURIC ACID and NITRIC ACID. The rain causes "chemical burns to the skin and serious damage to the lungs." it's a chemical attack using oil as the weapon When Saddam burned oil wells in Kuwait in 1991, US veterans developed “Gulf War Syndrome” chronic pain, neurological damage, cancer. 30 years later, they're still dying from it.
