For the first time in over 20 years, Israel has deployed tanks in the West Bank, after expelling 40,000 Palestinians from refugee camps.
This is a prelude to full annexation, and makes a mockery of the ceasefire agreement that Israel continues to violate.
We are witnessing ethnic cleansing — and our government’s ongoing failure to defend international law is utterly, utterly shameful.
Palestinians are human beings who deserve self-determination.
That is why we will continue to demand economic sanctions, a full arms embargo, and the only path to peace: an end to the occupation of Palestine.

Energy Transfer oil co. is seeking $300 million in damages from Greenpeace, accusing it of organising the Indigenous-led resistance to the Dakota Access Pipeline in 2016. I was making my film 'Thirst for Justice' there & never came across @greenpeaceusa greenpeace.org/usa/greenpeace…

JUST IN: 🇲🇽 🇺🇲 Mexico’s President Claudia says that the US gun manufacturers are aiding terrorism, because 74% of the cartels' weapons are theirs
Mexico’s President Claudia argues that if cartels are terrorists, then those supplying their weapons—over 74% of which come from the U.S.—should be held accountable for aiding terrorism.
In response, Mexico will expand its lawsuit against U.S. gun manufacturers.

"It's not my duty as Mayor to make sure you have a parking spot. For me it's the same as if you bought a cow, or a refrigerator, and then asked me where you're going to put them."

The top 1% evades $163 billion in taxes each year and many Fortune 500 companies pay an effective tax rate of 0%.
President Musk is cutting 6000, mostly enforcement, jobs at the IRS because he feels the rich aren’t exploiting the system enough.

Legislation that I passed and was funded by Congress, Solar for All, could reduce electric bills for working class families by 80%.
The Trump Admin is refusing to release the money in order to protect the profits of fossil fuel billionaires.
Unacceptable. Release the funds NOW.
Climate Reality@ClimateReality
$7 billion of Solar for All grants were frozen, stalling clean energy projects for low-income communities. This isn’t just a delay; it’s a direct hit on families who deserve lower bills, cleaner air, and a fair energy future. bit.ly/3Q1yfqp

A couple reflections on the quantum computing breakthrough we just announced...
Most of us grew up learning there are three main types of matter that matter: solid, liquid, and gas. Today, that changed.
After a nearly 20 year pursuit, we’ve created an entirely new state of matter, unlocked by a new class of materials, topoconductors, that enable a fundamental leap in computing.
It powers Majorana 1, the first quantum processing unit built on a topological core.
We believe this breakthrough will allow us to create a truly meaningful quantum computer not in decades, as some have predicted, but in years.
The qubits created with topoconductors are faster, more reliable, and smaller.
They are 1/100th of a millimeter, meaning we now have a clear path to a million-qubit processor.
Imagine a chip that can fit in the palm of your hand yet is capable of solving problems that even all the computers on Earth today combined could not!
Sometimes researchers have to work on things for decades to make progress possible.
It takes patience and persistence to have big impact in the world.
And I am glad we get the opportunity to do just that at Microsoft.
This is our focus: When productivity rises, economies grow faster, benefiting every sector and every corner of the globe.
It’s not about hyping tech; it’s about building technology that truly serves the world.
