This defamation suit by the McAlberts against Aidan and Karen is pure retaliation for being exposed, a desperate attempt to get a scalp. Recall Charlie DeLoach, the Karen Read jury foreman, and his post-acquittal comments calling for the house defendants to be investigated. “And then seeing the video of them putting the car on the tow truck, and the red light on the passenger side lit up, I was like, “Are we serious?” The exact piece that’s supposed to have been found in the snow is lit up. “Lie after lie, witness after witness after witness.” They can complain all they want, but it was their own testimony, actions, and behavior that did them in, and they may well find themselves on trial soon enough.

Apologies for my semi cryptic posts last night. I was SAd in the early 90s when I lived down south. I was contacted by a detective last year about it because they were going through records related to him due to another situation. I had buried this deep inside my brain to survive. I spent the better part of 2 weeks talking to him, reliving it and what happened afterwards. He advised me that there were 2 others who were both minors. He was arrested and charged with 3 SAs. One of the victims was looking for me, found my email address and contacted me, not knowing what had happened to me. I spent Friday morning, evening and all day yesterday talking with her. She and I had been very close back then, so close that I came to see her at Christmas to bring her gifts. She sent a picture of her wearing the gift. I’ve spent the past 2 days reliving this again, with someone who never should have been touched had the police department done what they were supposed to do in the first place. There is a lot more to this but I am preserving the privacy of others and protecting the ongoing investigation. I am furious and hurting so bad that the old boy network let this happen to others. I want to reach out and hold her. We picked up our friendship and have exchanged pictures and what’s happened in our lives. When and if this goes to trial, we are all going to be there to testify and support one another. If a plea is taken, we will be there to give victim impact statements. I’m still feeling physically ill over this. My brain is still reeling. I never meant to write about this but last night I was an absolute mess with this and the attempted assassination. I’m not going through this alone - my friends have been wonderful. My former husband remains my rock and best friend - we’ve been friends or more since 1984.
