It's here! The 60th edition of Brighton Festival programme is now out, and the full line-up is ready for you to feast your eyes on, here's a taster of what's to come🎉⁠ ⁠ Returning to the city and surrounding areas from 1–25 May 2026 with over 100 events, this will be the first Festival under the artistic leadership of new Chief Executive Lucy Davies. ⁠ ⁠ The expansive multi-arts line-up will feature over 100 events from over 140 artists spanning theatre, dance, music, literature, visual art and debate.⁠ ⁠ Read about this years festival in our new blog up now at brightonfestival.org/news/brighton-… ⁠ Tickets will be on sale for members from tomorrow, with general on sale from Thursday 26th February 🎟️⁠ ⁠ View the full programme at brightonfestival.org 💻

In celebration of the National Year of Reading, this year’s parade will bring stories to life as we explore seven magical genres of books: Realistic Fiction, Historical Fiction, Fantasy, Traditional Stories, Science Fiction and Graphic Novels & Picture Books 📖 Join us for the 40th Children’s Parade, a free, open-to-all celebration of community and imagination. What an incredible night! Seckou Keita & The Homeland Band lit up the Brighton Dome Corn Exchange with a stunning blend of traditional Senegalese music, pop and spoken word. Joined by Brighton Festival Guest Director Anoushka Shankar for a special performance, the night was a beautiful unity of soulful sitar and Seckou’s all-star lineup.
