I'm excited to share the first essay I've written in a little while - it's about training our subconscious. I was inspired by Josh Waitzkin's book "The Art of Learning" I hope Josh's work touches you as it has touched me. I'd love to hear your thoughts. bit.ly/49mUT3E

I'm very pleased to see our deal with Molten finally completed. It's taken a while! We had our first day in our new offices today. Everyone was super welcoming, and it's great to be back to the day job of working with founders to build great companies.

7/ I woke up this morning with this thought in my head. They may be old hat, I don’t know, but I felt compelled to get them in writing and out there. I think and hope there might be a grain of originality here and asking for comment is a way to test.

Hey folks - a podcast I did a couple of weeks back with my old friend Dom Monkhouse. We covered a lot of interesting ground, including how at Forward we make our assessments of startups. I hope you enjoy it :) See here: rb.gy/w28w7

The ever increasing pace of change is the defining feature of our times
Mustafa Suleyman@mustafasuleyman

From my new book the-coming-wave.com "We are reaching the decisive point of what, in geological or human evolutionary timescales, is a technological explosion unfolding in successive waves, a compounding, accelerating cycle of innovation steadily getting faster and more impactful, breaking first over a period of thousands of years, then hundreds of years, and now single years or even months. See these technologies in the context of press releases and op-eds, at the mayfly pace of social media, and they might look like hype and froth; see the long view, and their true potential becomes clear."

Great podcast conversation between Tim Ferriss and Bill Gurley. To my mind Gurley is one of the deepest thinkers in Venture. Plus he’s super clear in his comms and the way he shares his mental models. Brilliant. open.spotify.com/episode/3kuqnH…

@TheCoolLife101 What matters is that the team has all the skills provided and the key people have enough equity. To VCs it doesn't really matter if they are called founders or not.

@brisbourne Quick question - do VCs prefer to see multiple founders in a business all with unique skills or is 1 founder supported by other technical recruits as employees with equity options - just as good? Especially if that company already shows good growth regardless
