#15 (D6) @PHPats_Baseball went on the road to face one of the hottest teams in the state, unbeaten #6 (D5) @ArchboldBasebal and came away with a big 4-1 victory to open its @northwestohioal play.
The Patriots got a huge performance on the bump from @OhioStateBASE commit @MackHieber17. The 6-6, 220-pound righty went the distance, allowing 6 hits, 1 R (in the 7th on a weird defensive play), 2 BB, while striking out 11.
Offensively @ph_patriots1 was paced by 2026 SS @JardineMason, who went 1-3 with a 2B, a walk and 2 runs scored along with 2027 1B @Grady2008McKee, who was 2-4 with a run scored. 2026 CF Cal Schroeder added an RBI single in the 6th.
Archbold's trio of arms kept them in the contest throughout, as the uncommitted 2026 RHP @JaceCastillo99 pitched 2.2 innings, striking out 4. 2028 RHPs @ethankenneth28 and @WyattCline28 relieved the senior. Look for reports on all three in the thread.
