She sat in a hospital bed, hooked up to an IV, doing calculus homework.
Not because anyone made her. Not because a grade depended on it in that moment. But because 18-year-old Aya Osman from Orange Park, Florida had a dream — and cancer wasn't going to take it from her.
At 16, Aya was diagnosed. Two years of treatment. Hospital stays. Medications. The kind of exhaustion most of us will never understand. While other kids her age were worrying about Friday night plans, Aya was fighting for her life and completing her International Baccalaureate coursework from a hospital bed.
Let that sink in for a second.
She didn't just survive. She thrived.
This year, Aya Osman graduated Summa Cum Laude from Ridgeview High School with a 4.77 GPA — and walked across that stage cancer-free.
When asked how she kept going through the darkest days, Aya didn't talk about willpower or heroics. She said simply, "It helped to distract yourself... It helps put your mind at ease and keeps you focused about something else."
Homework. Piano music. One day at a time.
That's it. That's her secret.
She had a dream of becoming a neurologist since she was 12 years old — a little girl who looked at the human brain and thought, I want to understand that. Cancer tried to rewrite that story. Aya had other plans.
And now? She's heading to New York University on a full scholarship.
The same hands that gripped IV lines are going to hold a medical degree someday. The same mind that solved equations through nausea and fear is going to help heal others.
Aya didn't go viral for a stunt. She didn't ask for attention. She just quietly, stubbornly, beautifully refused to give up — carried by family, fueled by purpose, and anchored by a piano and a pile of textbooks on a hospital tray.
This is what courage actually looks like. Not loud. Not flashy.
Just a girl doing her calculus homework when the world gave her every reason not to.
Congratulations, Aya. You didn't just beat cancer — you showed all of us what's possible.
🎓 Share this if Aya's story gave you chills. Someone out there needs to see this today.

This is Mazwi Mpumelelo Khubheka, he is missing. He was allegedly kidnapped after Refusing to sell his spaza shop to Pakistani Spaza shops owners.
Nearly a month has passed since the alleged kidnapping of Mazwi, with his family still seeking answers. They believe he was targeted after opening a spaza shop and say investigators have not provided updates.
According to the family, an unknown man had pressured Mazwi to sell his shop to Pakistani nationals, which he refused. They also allege that a security company is protecting foreign shop owners while forcing locals to close.
The family is urging authorities to act urgently and provide clarity, saying the case requires serious attention as concerns grow over what may have happened to him.

Thokozani 🙏
This message is deep, spiritual, and important. Please read with understanding and respect:
1.) Obaba, be careful of denying your child (uphika ingane).
There is nothing heavier than rejecting your own blood. If one day you discover the truth, know that healing won’t be simple there will be a spiritual process to cleanse and restore what was broken between you and your child.
2.) “Vat en sit” can block your path.
Not everything is meant for you. Just because something is offered doesn’t mean you must accept it. Some things come with spiritual weight.
3.) Be careful of monitoring spirits.
Not everyone watching you is supporting you. Protect your energy, your plans, and your progress.
4.) Teach your children about their roots.
Let them know about ancestors, isibaya, umsamo. One day, they may need to connect spiritually, and knowledge will guide them.
5.) Guard your dreams.
Not every dream is for sharing. Some are messages meant only for you. Write them down, reflect in time, they will reveal their meaning.
6.) Not everyone deserves access to your life.
Your home, your car, your children, your personal space these are sacred. Protect them.
7.) Couples must heal together after loss.
Miscarriage, abortion, stillbirth this is not only physical, it is spiritual. Both partners must cleanse. A spiritual child can block blessings if not properly acknowledged.
8.) Respect the graves.
What you do there matters. You can disturb spiritual balance, even turn light into darkness, or block your own blessings.
9.) Do not involve yourself in dark practices.
Even if it’s family or in-laws — if there is witchcraft, step away. It never ends well
10.) Your actions affect your children.
What you do today can open or close doors for the next generation. Walk carefully, live consciously.
Stay spiritually aware. Protect your path. Protect your bloodline. ✨

This is Phila Ndwandwe. In 1985, Phila was 🇿🇦 recruited into the ANC. She became an MK fighter. 3 years later, she was abducted in Swaziland by Apartheid police. She suffered unspeakable horror and was torturęd, in an effort to turn her into an informer. One always gets the sense that the fight against Apartheid was a masculine one. To a certain extent we can not fault people for thinking that it is only men, through the sacrifice of their bodies who liberated this country, because somehow history chooses to ignore the women who fought alongside glorified men.
Phila Ndwandwe was breąstfeeding, when she was abducted (A makarov in one hand and a baby in the other). Aaah! Mbokodo! Her family was made to believe that she had eloped to Tanzania when the shaIIow grave of their child was a mere 10 kilometers from where they lived. Her d.eath and grave came to be known when her k.iller asked for amnesty for her brutal m.urder. Her k.illers testified before the TRC that she was repeatedly b.eaten and kept naked for 10 days until she made herself a pair of panties using a plastic bag. When they realized they weren't going to get the Commander to b.etray her comrades, her k.illers blindfolded her, took her to a veld and shot her in the s.kull. When her remains were unearthed, the bullet hole in her skuII was clearly visible, and her killęr testified that she had been s.hot while kneeling. Other articles have suggested that she was hit over the head and s.hot while unconscious. One of the men who m.urdered Phila described her as "Brave. Very brave. "
let's celebrate Phila. Her selfless dedication to the emancipation of our people should not be undermined. It should not be forgotten! One can only hope that her targeted body is dancing free and light. This is Phila Ndwandwe- the woman who refused to betray her comrades.

Dear Lord,
Today, I keep trying to act like I’m over it—and I’m not. I’m still checking, still thinking about it, still tempted to go back. Teach me how to let go without feeling like I lost again. Close what I keep reopening—and don’t let me ruin what You’re working together for my good. In Jesus’ name,
Amen🙏🏽
