Can I ask why, if a pensioner has worked all their life, they only have the state pension to rely on? Didn’t decide to save ?

Sounds like poor planning to me.
And yes if your children have flown the nest and you, or you and your spouse are knocking around in a 3 or 4 bedroom house you bought decades ago- SELL it.
You’ll have more than enough to live on.

I've seen them dozens of times, bought the t-shirt, got the tattoo etc.
They're still touring despite JJ Burnel (the reason I play bass) being the only original member.

@johnbarrett2468 The Beach Boys Today! is pretty standout, as well as Pet Sounds. They have alot of fluff in their discography, but quit a few really good ones as well. I get it though not for everyone.
