🇵🇭Quezon City is partnering with local women leaders to help shape the green revolution. 🇪🇹Addis Ababa is helping women build technical skills and boost incomes through training. 🇯🇴Amman is training women in plumbing to help tackle water scarcity.

🇪🇸Madrid is training women to work in construction - creating pathways into good green jobs. 🇸🇱In Freetown, Africa's first Chief Heat Officer is helping the city adapt to rising heat. 🇨🇴 In Bogotá, women are being trained to be electric bus drivers.

This #InternationalWomensDay, we’re celebrating the cities and women driving climate action forward.

Yesterday we joined city leaders at the Dar es Salaam Climate Governance Masterclass organized by our partners @c40cities.   The 🇬🇧, via the Urban Climate Action Programme & the Climate Action Implementation Programme, is supporting 🇹🇿 to turn climate plans into action.
