An important message. Post-16 education is not just A Levels & BTECs - it's richer than that. Furthermore NCFE has been superb at supporting providers 👏👏👏
NCFE@NCFE

We issued Level 3 results for over 15,000 students last week. We are however aware of a very small number of cases in which students did not receive their results last week as expected. In those cases, we are working intensively with centres to access the information we... 1/2

Interesting article making a strong case for reopening schools - mustn’t forget FE colleges either, of course. Tough choices will have to be made unless test-trace-isolate system can be made to work. #COVID19 #loveourcolleges @LuminateEdGroup

Tough choices need to be made, but reopening schools is a priority. The Test-Trace-Isolate system has to work and deserves all our support. theguardian.com/commentisfree/…

The early years sector is relying on government support to survive the impact of the pandemic. If many nurseries close, we’ll see significant repercussions for both children’s early development, learning and their parents’ ability to access the workforce @SuttonTrust @CACHEORG

In case you missed last night's Newsnight, here is their excellent report on the early years and the impact of coronavirus on providers. We worked with both @suttontrust and @BBCNewsnight on this to help highlight the sector's concerns. youtube.com/watch?v=a1KuLy…

“Now is the time, when the world has been turned upside down, to prioritise support for children and families. Crucially the government must introduce a package of support to protect early years providers and enable them to stay solvent.” @SuttonTrust @CACHEORG @EYWC2020
The Sutton Trust@suttontrust

Our latest report into the impacts of Covid-19 finds that a third of early years providers in the most deprived areas may be forced to close, compared to a quarter of those in the least deprived areas. 31% of all providers said they might have to make redundancies.
