Got the news of Walter's passing @ dinner Friday. Hard to explain to young kids how influential and important he was...very different world.

No CNN, MSNBC, FOX, internet, Google, I-pods, Twitter. Just CBS, NBC and ABC...and most got their news from one man: Walter Cronkite.

Proud our Prime Time tribute to Walter Cronkite was the most watched show Sun. night. Every future/current journalist should watch it...

Not sure most people appreciate what Tom Watson did @ British Open. Win or lose, @ age 59 it was remarkable..and it was in his grasp.
