Sophomore Cohen Nelson was brilliant in going six innings with just two hits plus one run allowed with no walks and 11 strikeouts, improving his record to 3-0 in Cloud County's 8-1 win over Butler today. Nelson retired the Grizzlies in order in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th frames.
