In the postgame presser Florida Coach Todd Golden said the officials told him that Alvaro threw a punch but since it didn’t connect, there wasn’t validation for an ejection. Folgeuiras would go on to hit the game winning shot and be Iowa’s second leading scorer in the game

HALF: Florida leads Prairie View A&M, 60-21. The Gators out-scored the Panthers 45-6 to close the half after the game was tied at 15. UF shot 75 percent from the field and out-rebounded the Panthers 25-7 in the opening 20 minutes.
