As the front moved through our service area, the @NWSSanAntonio recorded a peak wind gust of 53 mph, which contributed to weather-related outages and challenging repair conditions for crews overnight. Currently, there are 44 weather-related outages impacting approximately 430 customers, with the largest outage being in the 78230 zip code. CPS Energy crews continue working to safely restore power where outages remain. In addition to restoration efforts, CPS Energy’s Customer Response Unit (CRU) teams have been in the community making direct contact with customers who remain without power and providing updates and support while crews complete repairs. Current status. @cpsenergy came out, broke the driveway gate open and cut tree. Property is now wide open to vagrants. Property owner is a company, so they don't care and never come fix anything. Things will stay like this for awhile. @COSAGOV Awesome.

CPS Energy performs vegetation maintenance only around CPS Energy–owned power lines and equipment to help protect the electric system and keep service reliable. This work must be handled by trained professionals due to the dangers associated with high-voltage lines. If a tree on your property is growing too close to CPS Energy equipment, do not attempt to trim it yourself. Please call 210-353-2222 to request an inspection or learn about next steps.
