WEATHER & RESPONSE UPDATE (3:20 PM):
Wind conditions across the San Antonio area have improved following yesterday’s cold front. As the front moved through our service area, the @NWSSanAntonio recorded a peak wind gust of 53 mph, which contributed to weather-related outages and challenging repair conditions for crews overnight.
Currently, there are 44 weather-related outages impacting approximately 430 customers, with the largest outage being in the 78230 zip code.
CPS Energy crews continue working to safely restore power where outages remain. In addition to restoration efforts, CPS Energy’s Customer Response Unit (CRU) teams have been in the community making direct contact with customers who remain without power and providing updates and support while crews complete repairs.
We thank our community for their patience and understanding as crews continue working to safely restore service to all affected customers.
