Celebrating a Milestone at Gaba Campus On 7th April, Gaba Campus hosted a remarkable and inspiring event—the Commissioning of AMECEA Pastoral Institute (API) participants. The University has in this week (April 7-10) hosted the 12th Edition of the Catholic Private Education Institution's Association conference. The Conference was opened on Tuesday by Rt. Rev. Henry Juma Odonya, Bishop of Kitale Catholic Diocese. A representative of the CS for Education also addressed the meeting. The theme for this year's conference was: Catholic Schools: Rooted in Faith, Rising with Purpose.

This week the University welcomed Rt. Rev. Henry Juma Odonya, the Bishop of Catholic Diocese of Kitale, Kenya on his maiden visit to the University as he came to open the 12th session of Catholic Private Education Institution's Association Conference on Tuesday, April 7. Bishop Odonya was installed as Bishop of Kitale in January, 2023.

The Kenyan Universities Sports came to a close yesterday and our DVCs, Prof. Justus Munyoki and Damian Maingi were at hand to hand over medals accompanied by the Ex. Dir., Administration and HR Doreen Njeru and Deputy Dean of Students, Ms. Peris Sogoti. CUEA Successfully hosted the four day sporting event cutting across a number of sports disciplines.

Our Vice Chancellor, Very Rev. Prof. Stephen Mbugua, while flanked by Mr. Kibet Rono, the chair KUSF opened the Kenya University Sports Federation (KUSF) and Nairobi South Kenya University Sports Federation (NaSoKUSF) play offs here at CUEA, Langata Campus. In his speech, the Vice Chancellor noted that the events of the day marked not just the beginning of a competition, but a celebration of talent, unity, discipline and the true spirit of sportsmanship The various sports activities will go on till Sunday, March 29th. We are grateful to all our neighbouring institutions who have partnered with us.
