Any company owned by a yoruba man, you'll definitely see all tribes working there. Let an Ibo person have a company, lol To see a yoruba person in that establishment must be a special case. Na yoruba people dey do fuulish liberalism.

About @DonSilsz's ticket. It is another test of unity for Lagosians. I know what I could have outrightly written but I'm careful my words will be used against me in future. Also, I don't want to bring internal division among brothers. All the 5 divisions in Lagos should actually be supporting this young man. Those who always claim to be against their "ọmọ iya" are also supposed to show solidarity for this young man. I mean those across the Lagoon. This is why I have always maintained that every son of the soil in Lagos should be involved in politics. His ticket should be non-negotiable. He's young, capable and focused!

My people, i told you… it’s all about money for them. No activist in Nigeria, it’s only CASHtivist. Look at the way she glowed when she mentioned 1 billion, God has started exposing all of una. It’s all love from here ❤️ I just wanted Nigerians to know the truth. Remain blessed.

This is not what Joke Silver left for us. This is not what Ireti Doyle left for us. This is not what Bimbo Akintola left for us. This is not what Shaffy Bello left for us. This is honestly tiring, and Funke Akindele should do better. She can’t keep profiting off the mischaracterization of Yoruba people.
BoluTife@B0lutife

Funke Akindele too contributes a lot to the stereotypes YORUBA women face. In this movie, she portrayed a brash and uncultured YORUBA woman while Omoni Oboli acted the suave, urban and educated Ibo woman.

Ikwerres who are neighbours to igbos rejected them and seized their properties after the war. But Yorubas always wanting to look good to the world welcomed them back to SW and gave them back their properties. Lmao 😏 you think Ikwerres were dumb.

It was a female Alaafin that defeated the invading Nupe, subdued them….expanded Oyo’s territory and metamorphosed it into a big Calvary empire Efunsetan another Yoruba women led plenty of campaigns and expanded Ibadan’s influence even when powerful male Baloguns cowered, Yoruba women have always being a force to reckon with, and without them our civilization would have just being relics inside museums and historical sites.
Man of Letters.@Letter_to_Jack

They have always had the fearless warrior blood pumping in their veins; they are just very calculated. Their foremothers, led by Funmilayo Ransom Kuti, dethroned a sitting Alake of Egbaland with a peaceful protest as far back as 1949. They won on all three reasons: taxation was removed, female representation became a custom till today in government, and the king (Oba Ademola II) was forced to abdicate the throne. They only stopped after all their demands were met. When they decide to fight, they fight to a standstill until the opposing threat surrenders completely.

Good morning everyone. Very late yesterday I was tagged in screenshots of some tweets made by a senior executive at @Risevest around 2013 and earlier that give us very serious concerns. To avoid a knee jerk response, I forward same to our leadership team immediately I received them and this morning we have initiated an internal review and have convened a meeting with our whole team to handle this with the seriousness it requires. To be clear, Risevest was started by myself, Bosun Olanrewaju and Tony as a company that is a home to everyone who wants to do great work, with respect and love for every group of people. While these comments are from years before we even conceived of the company, they are not casual and they are too serious to be dismissed as "shitposting". They most definitely do not reflect the values of our company and so far we have not seen any evidence that this reflects the character or actual actions of the executive in question. However, we want to assure everyone offended by it that we fully understand why anyone would be offended by such statements and have commenced an internal review of the executive's work and conduct to determine the right course of action. As many of you have witnessed over the years, when any matters like these are in concern, we handle it firmly, thoroughly and without favoritism no matter who is involved at any level. We thank everyone who has raised this concern and ask that we be given time to ensure this matter is handled well not only for the sake of those who have raised the issue but also for the sake of our team members, stakeholders and every other person who such comments have offended. Thank you Regards, Eke Eleanya Urum CEO, Risevest.
