🎬✨ On Set with California’s Next Generation of Filmmakers! ✨🎬 NFMLA was proud to partner with the @FilmCalifornia to bring six amazing college students onto the set of the feature film Nutmeg and Mistletoe — a production supported by the State of California’s Film & Television Tax Credit Program. 🌟 As part of the Tax Credit Program’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, productions are required to create meaningful career development opportunities for emerging professionals. NFMLA was thrilled to help facilitate this hands-on experience — giving students real access to the creative and professional ecosystem of a working film set. Representing 🎓 @CalStateLA , @EmersonLAcenter, @LoyolaMarymount, @UCLA, @NYFA, and @CalArts, these students participated in a professional skills set tour, connected directly with department heads across the production, and spent valuable time learning from the film’s producers and director. A huge thank you to the incredible team behind Nutmeg and Mistletoe for welcoming our students so generously! Big weekend for former Lakers champion Metta Sandiford-Artest. The Cal State L.A. women’s basketball team - where he serves as the lead assistant for the Golden Eagles - won the CCAA Tourney for the first time in program history and earned a bid in the NCAA D-II Tourney
