Nurses have been fighting for single-payer healthcare for decades. I'm running for governor to deliver it. Nurses are the backbone of our healthcare system, and they have been overlooked for too long. I'm so proud to have their endorsement, and I will fight for them as governor.

Under Trump, ICE has been attacking our communities, disappearing our neighbors and patients, and murdering people, including one of our own, nurse Alex Pretti.   @TomSteyer understands that ICE can't be reformed and must be abolished. He is the candidate for abolishing ICE!

Nurses are for @TomSteyer because he understands that billionaires — yes, like himself — and corporations need to be forced to pay their fair share. He may seem like an unlikely ally in the class war, but we know that the fighters we need don’t always come from where we expect.

RNs are sick of Sacramento cowering away from the bold steps we need to make #CalCare a reality. We need a governor who won’t cave to the health care industry’s lobby. That person is @TomSteyer. Nurses trust him because he believes what we believe: Health care is a human right!

May Day is an internationally recognized day of resistance to corporate greed — dating back to the 1886 fight to win the 8-hour workday in Chicago. @NationalNurses proudly took part to continue that legacy and demonstrate the power of working people. ✊🏽

Union nurses held a press conference today outside Bakersfield Memorial Hospital to demand hospital leadership reverse plans to close the hospital’s burn unit. This lifesaving specialized care for the Central Valley must be preserved!
