@NABO_Official On average it costs around £7,000 to remove a boat, though costs can vary considerably depending on ground conditions and other factors. We paid just over £700,000 on removal in 2024-25. With around £250,000 additional towards legal costs. You can find further information 1/2

@seanmcpltd number and type of waste streams now required, and the need to ensure safe access for both users and waste collection vehicles. It was concluded that the site could not safely accommodate the necessary arrangements while remaining compliant. Other boater services at the site 2/3

@CanalRiverTrust is there any info on why the rubbish services at Poynton were abruptly discontinued with no notice? They still show active on the CRT map. Possibly trying a period securing w/ a BW key should have been the next step vs closing, if fly tipping was an issue?
