@vbadtz We're hoping to launch the new Wi-Fi Access Point by the end of the year, but it's still under development so there may be some changes to the timeline. We will have more information closer to launch!

@candyhouse_inc guys where is the promised Homekit compatibility we are waiting for more than 2 years now ?

@vbadtz Unfortunately we don't have a list of compatible locks with Sesame and tend to check each on a case-by-case basis, sorry about that!

@reneritchie in your last vectorpodcast you mentioned smart locks I have been using and really like @candyhouse_inc sesame lock. Really easy to install and now even works with Siri shortcuts.

@vbadtz We mean something totally new! If you have a mortise lock, compatibility depends on the dimensions. You can email a photo of the lock to us at sesame@candyhouse.co and we can send you a compatibility guide and let you know if we think Sesame will work with your lock or not.

@foolintherain Please see our removal video here: youtube.com/watch?v=H88nHz… Be sure to pull the strip parallel to the door rather than perpendicular to keep it from breaking. The remaining pieces can be removed by using floss to scrape it off. Hope this helps!

@infohomekitnews Depends on your mortise lock. Sesame currently only supports locks that are within 360 degrees. And if the base is not wide enough to support Sesame, you may need an adapter to provide Sesame with sufficient surface area to attach. Email us at sesame@candyhouse.co for more info!

@jankais3r The Wi-Fi Access Point will disconnect from Sesame whenever it's not in use and try to reconnect whenever you open your app or send an API request. Could you please email sesame@candyhouse.co and let us know your account email address so we can check your logs? Thanks!

@candyhouse_inc I made sure to remove Sesame’s BT pairing record from all my phones/tablets, so no other device is trying to communicate with it. The proximity is not an issue. You could solve this by letting the dongle try to connect to Sesame when it receives API request instead of failing.

@candyhouse_inc I keep getting this error with my WiFi adapter. Not always but often. What’s the solution? Why isn’t the dongle paired with the lock at all times? What’s the point otherwise?
