Friday 8th September Programme 🚨 This weeks @CN_HS Future Friday Programme. There are 19 unique & exciting clubs on offer including football trials & a Strathclyde University Information Session 🎓 Get involved!

Another amazing afternoon at this weeks @CN_HS Future Friday Programme. We had over 170 pupils in attendance comfortably beating last weeks total! There were 15 brilliant clubs on offer today 👏🏼 See you all next week! Have a great weekend everyone 🤩

A very kind message from former pupil & current @CelticFC player @anthonyralston8 congratulating the @CN_HS S2 team on their recent success 🤩⚽️ Anthony was also part of a Cardinal Newman S2 trophy winning team 👏🏼🏆

They were also very unfortunate not to lift more silverware, agonisingly losing on penalties in both the Scottish Plate Final & Lanarkshire League Semi-Final. Send on next season!! Well done team 🤩👏🏼 @CN_HS

The squad won 16/19 games, drawing 2 and only losing 1 game in normal time. The team scored a whopping 83 goals across the season! The highlight was deservingly winning the Lanarkshire Cup after a brilliant performance.…

⚽️ 𝗦𝟮 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗟𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵 ⚽️ Today we celebrate our talented S2 Football Team 🤩 This squad have been a joy to coach this season yet again! Every single player in the squad has made a brilliant contribution leading to another successful season….

Zac has been an excellent contributor this season. He works extremely hard and always gives 100% on the pitch, he is a joy to coach. Zac is a fitting recipient of this award as he consistently displays an amazing mindset. Well done Zac! @CN_HS

Riley displays amazing technical ability in the heart of midfield, he is consistently able to make time & space for himself. Riley also reads the game brilliantly. He has been a real success story as he also recently signed with Airdrieonians Academy. Well done Riley! @CN_HS

⚽️ 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 ⚽️ 𝗥𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘆 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗻𝘀 It’s been a joy to watch Riley improving as a player across the season. He is a talented individual who has been pivotal in the success of the team….

Kevin continuously came up with big goals, most notably scoring 4 in the Cameronian Shield Final to help us win the cup. His contribution to the team has been magnificent, he not only scores but also works his socks off in games. Well done Kevin! @CN_HS

Conlan has yet again been momentous at the back, stopping numerous goal bound opportunities with powerful last ditch tackles and blocks. He is a real asset to our team & we are proud that this has been noticed as he recently signed with Hearts Academy. Well done Conlan! @CN_HS

Kevin is a powerhouse who displays amazing speed and finishing ability. He was a consistent match winner for us averaging just under 3 goals a game 👏🏼 His contribution has been second to none, he is a real asset to our team! Well done Kevin! @CN_HS
