I was just looking for some chocolate WITHOUT palm oil in, in my local Tesco... I couldn't find any! Cadbury, Nestle etc etc all contained bloody palm oil! 😒 Anyone have an idea of chocolate brands that don't use palm oil? 🤔 🍫

@JohnPretty2o2o Very bad for you, and it's not just in chocolate, it's in a lot things, such as biscuits, noodles, margarine etc! High saturated fat content, leading to increased cholesterol, the bad LDL type... not to mention it being a leading factor in deforestation and global warming!

@CarlBovisNature I don't eat a lot of chocolate, but what is the problem with palm oil?

@Pussgrace My daughter ended up buying Toblerone in the Tesco, it was the only one she could find!

@CarlBovisNature If you look for fair trade, you'll find well made chocolate, with better standards for the product chain Imo that tastes better (because it doesn't contain the bitterness) Tony's chocolony is the way

@CarlBovisNature Montezuma’s don’t contain palm oil. The Lordy Lord (with bits of cocoa nibs in) is my favourite but they do Milk Chocolate too and the peanut butter filled one is lovely.

@shezchambers I've started to eat more dark chocolate, though not tried 70 - 80% yet!

@CarlBovisNature I switched from milk due to high cholesterol now only eat dark choc 75 or 80 % no palm oil in that
