The women's squad is bringing home bronze 🥉 They score 42 points to earn the women's track and field program's first indoor team trophy. This third-place showing ties the second-highest team finish ever for an Illinois women’s sport! #WhyNotILL

JaiCieonna gets her second All-America honor of the weekend! She's now the program's sixth individual to become a high jump All-American indoors on her 1.85m (6-0 3/4) clearance. #WhyNotILL

🥈🌹 Yeboah is the national runner-up in the high jump on the new school record, 1.94m (6-4 1/4)! She's the second high jumper in school history to earn indoor HJ All-America honors in three-straight seasons. (Stacy Ann Grant, 1997-99). #WhyNotILL

Makhethe captures silver in the weight throw 🥈 She throws a huge school record 24.40m (80-0 3/4) to earn her second-consecutive All-America honor in the event as she got third last season. #WhyNotILL

ZERO DOUBT 🥇🏆 Beckmon is the program's first EVER field event national champion indoors as she takes home gold in the long jump, 6.84m (22-5 1/4). She's the program's fourth indoor national champion! #WhyNotILL

Pentathlon Silver belongs to Gero-Holt 🥈 She becomes the school's second All-American and highest finisher ever in the event with a new school record point total of 4,466 points! #WhyNotILL

Good Pro Day for one of the more notable NFL Combine snubs in @IlliniFootball James Thompson. His bench and broad numbers match what you see on film: strong and explosive. One scout told me position work was outstanding as well. Should be one of the first handful of non-Combine players drafted this year. Had a DOMINANT @ShrineBowl week too. #ShrineBowlWhosNext
