Did you know that Sean Bowen is the Professional Jockeys Association's reigning British Champion Jump Jockey? 🏆 🏇 He's certainly no stranger to winning here at Cartmel! In fact, on Sunday 30th June 2024, he pulled off an incredible TREBLE here. 🥇🥇🥇

Local trainer James Moffatt first won our Trainers' Challenge here back in 2015. 🏆 With an incredible record, he’s claimed 7 Trainers' Challenge titles in total and in 1993, he was even top jockey! 🏇

Cartmel's track is unlike any other in racing 🏇 The final fence sits 4 furlongs from the finish—nearly half a mile of flat-out galloping after the last jump. It demands patience, timing, and serious stamina. It's just one of the things that make racing here unforgettable.
