@Castademon89 @5tevieM I’m preparing to watch the first three shows with an open mind - deciding something is shit before its even aired means you’ve already made up your mind and are not a reliable critic. It doesn’t look too hot yet - only one comedian I recognise but I’ll make my own decision.

Some dude with Tourettes involuntarily said the n-word and the national press, along with activist groups and Hollywood actors, had a two-week meltdown. It comes out that Mamdani’s wife said it casually and voluntarily and it’s total silence. Weird how that works.

@Castademon89 @5tevieM @Gumblejack I think the quality of stand up in particular is really really good, it's just a much broader spectrum than it used to be, so you're more likely to see things you don't like as well as things you do.

@Caroline_Lno1 @5tevieM @Gumblejack Oh aye, with Steve Coogan. It's why you need a outsider with more sway and experience in sketch structure to control the egos. Plus Vic and Bob were involved. As you say, sketch comedy is hard. The quality of comedy in past 15 years has sucked. It's very noticeable.
