I finally got the iso to boot the #Omarchy ISO on my MacBook Air 2011. @dhh. For anyone else curious… I had to use Ventoy to boot.

@dhh I managed to install it on an old macbook air mid 2011 👏 Sometimes it freezes but I still haven't figured out why

We got a full guide on how to install Omarchy on vintage Intel MacBooks. There are still a couple of caveats, and you have to turn off secure boot, but overall it's very functional, and far better than being scrap metal after Apple abandoned them. learn.omacom.io/2/the-omarchy-…

@dhh Linux copy paste is annoying because you have to use two different standards: - for terminal: ctrl shift c/v - for everything else: ctrl c/v Would be nice for some consistency to just use one standard across everything instead of two in Linux

Rewiring your muscle memory for copy/paste when you go from Mac to Omarchy is an important rite of passage. Not friction to be whittled away. We need more rituals in society. More tokens of sacrifice. This is a small one. Make it proudly.
