WHY HRS ARE SLOWER THIS YEAR COMPARED TO LAST YEAR: Last year we had El Niño → warmer early season = more homers early This year leaning more La Niña → colder + inconsistent = slower start for bats April → early May: still shaky (cold nights, inconsistent temps) • Mid–late May: things start to heat up • June → August: full green light (prime HR season)
