Many players can find 6-move combinations but they never get the positions to use them. The legendary Judit Polgar knows why. To break into the World Top 10, @GMJuditPolgar had to learn how to guide her aggressive style with elite strategy. (1/3) 🧵

Yesterday we had the honor of hosting GM @erwinlami at my chess club for a simul. In the end we were unable to take any points though - he left with a 100% score 😅 #chesspunks

Yes, @GMJuditPolgar played 22...Rc3! This game was a draw but she won the tournament (Buenos Aires, 2000) with 6.5/9, ahead of Short, Karpov, Bologan & others. She annotates this and other games in her new course, Judit Polgar Teaches Chess 2: From GM to Top Ten. 🔗🔽

Across from you: Anatoly Karpov. Like a boa constrictor, he thrives by suffocating his opponents. But you are Judit Polgar. You’ve already sacrificed a piece for two pawns to break the equilibrium. Karpov is waiting. You have Black. What is your next move?

Wilhelm Steinitz: "The French is the dullest of all openings." 😴 Viktor Korchnoi: "I play the French because I like to suffer." 😫 190 years of history and we're still debating 1...e6. Where do you stand on the French Defense? [POLL]🗳️👇

@GMJuditPolgar Judit Polgar Teaches Vol. 2: From GM to Top 10 is the blueprint for that transformation. Judit takes you inside her 1991–1996 rise, showing you how she set up tactical knockouts against greats like Karpov, Anand, and Spassky. (2/3)
