It's March Break! With our younger citizens free from school, we brought in special agents to ensure safety in the city. Undercover work is not easy, but the bag of chips certainly helps.

Earlier this week, we reported issues with cooper lines that affected 9-1-1 capabilities. When these lines are damaged or stolen, 9-1-1 calls may not go through. Protect the lines that save lives.

Officers have been quite busy with traffic related calls for service. Roads are slippery and worse further south if traveling out of town. Slow down, drive to the conditions, and leave room between you and the car in front.

Between 11:45am & 2:45pm The Owen Sound Emergency Communications Centre (OSECC) responded to 50 emergency calls after shifting ice stranded several ice anglers. OSPECC worked closely with local emergency services to coordinate a swift & well organized multi-agency rescue response
