@JamesPiercey11 The next contract is the most under discussed part of draft talk. There are a lot of good, NBA-ready players that play themselves into positions of being overpaid. It’s tough to project out, but you better feel good about the idea of a max extension if you draft anyone top 3.

@Chri21opher @Jonesy2x4 I think I've mentioned it before with Clingan, but you really want lottery level talent centers on your team for their rookie contracts in competitive windows. I just think makes a ton of sense given the age, but maybe they think they can get 80% of him with the Cavs pick

@ToneGully If Harper regresses in year 2 like Zac did then they probably will start to get really worried. But again, Harper has actual on ball skills and juice that Zac doesn’t. Zac never showed the driving ability Harper has and would have to create it from 0. The entire problem.

@Chri21opher Yes situations. It’s the same. Look at Harper in SA second overall pick not developing. Getting a little more minutes than Zacc did and putting up the same numbers. Send Harper to the Nets he destroys those numbers .

BYU paid $7 million to AJ Dybantsa. He led the nation in scoring. Cool. They finished 10th in the Big 12 and were a 6-seed in the NCAA Tournament after losing a key guard to injury. They lost to an 11-seed Texas team that finished 10th in the SEC. Is that NIL $ well spent?
