More landlords are using AI to screen renters but these systems don’t see the full picture. They can’t understand context, personal circumstances, or the barriers many people face. Housing decisions shouldn’t come down to an algorithm that can’t see the whole story.

The administration is pushing for a new law that would make millions of citizens pay out-of-pocket for papers -- papers that millions of citizens don’t have to register to vote. That’s a poll tax. And poll taxes have been ILLEGAL since the 24th Amendment.

Poll taxes were designed to keep people, especially Black voters, out of the democratic process. This remind us what voter suppression looked like then.That’s why we must reject the SAVE Act and any policy that makes it harder for people to participate in our democracy.

This black woman is wearing on her chest the original Poll tax bill from Alabama in 1960 where she had to make the choice back then of whether to vote or feed her family especially when you only made $2 dollars a week so she fed her family instead! The Save Act Now! 🤬
