Things I’ve learned in football, that we should pay more attention to: Doesn’t matter how much film you watch as a player/coach if u don’t know what you’re looking for… Doesn’t matter how much you practice/coach something if you don’t know what’s truly right or wrong about it… Doesn’t matter how far or how fast you throw it, if you don’t know when & where it should be going… Focusing on the result (good or bad) of the play is useless as a player/coach unless you understand WHY the result happened…. We too often think doing something is equal to doing what’s needed… As I always say, “If you know you know… but too many ppl spend their lives not knowing what they don’t know”!
