Most crypto traders only know spot and perps. That’s a mistake. I finally spent time learning crypto options on @DeriveXYZ, and it’s one of the most underused tools in this market. Simple example: You’re long 1 BTC, bullish long-term, but don’t want to panic through a short-term drawdown. You buy a protective put. Downside is capped during the bar. Upside stays open unlike a perp short since you don't get liquidated for more than the cost. Your max loss is known in advance. This lets you hold spot through all the bear market drops without panic selling. Options are already massive in TradFi. In new financial markets like crypto, they always mature last. We’re already seeing: • Institutions driving options volume to ATHs • Volatility harvesting replacing Old “yield” strategies • Spot and perps infra reaching full saturation This is where crypto trading is heading. @adam3us @nic_carter @severesarcasm @Crypto_Mags Also, I think the QC threat is overblown. I believe there is the same amount of money going into quantum cryptography, if not more, than into creating quantum computing. If not, then this isa good investment area.

@nic_carter @severesarcasm @Crypto_Mags you do have to understand classic cryptography, what types of cryptography bitcoin uses it, cryptographic hardness assumptions, the state and trajectory of quantum computers, and what cryptographic algorithms are even affected. the people making noise understand none of that.

Extremely bearish that many influential devs flatly deny that there’s any quantum risk. Completely unlike the philosophy of being proactive and paranoid that normally characterizes bitcoin. Meanwhile: - companies are raising $100s of m to build QCs that can crack ECC - bitcoins mere existence is accelerating QC development - AI is accelerating math and physics discoveries - US gov planning to deprecate classically crypto by 2030, disallow by 2035 - quantum arms race actively underway between US and China

Cardano will fall out of top 20 in 2026. It's a total ghostchain. No-one uses it. Even price performance has been abysmal: peak couldn't even reach -50% vs peak in 2021. Hyperliquid, Monad, Zcash will all flip it next year.
