The Valley Dale Ballroom opened in the 1910s, welcoming thousands of well known musicians to its stage – Frank Sinatra, Duke Ellington, the Velvet Underground, and Jimi Hendrix, to name a few.
Now, it continues to host Big Band performances in Columbus almost every Friday night.

When railroad depots were plain and rectangular, Canal Winchester experimented.
This was the first octagonal station on the railway line, complete with stained glass windows and ornate decorations. It was celebrated for its beauty – earning the nickname "Queen of the Line".
