@mistressdivy Still don’t believe them figures. Out of a group of friends (likeminded) and work group (not likeminded) only half were vaxed. None gave it to their children.
@sonicboom49@griptmedia They were buying them here a few years ago off students who didn’t work or claim benefits and paying them 100 quid a month. Not filing or paying their serf employment taxes and all the students got tax bills of over 10k off revenue
John Hopkins Hospital has had the patent for Mebendazole Polymorph for the TREATMENT AND PREVENTION OF TUMOURS for a long time.
This was suppressed because the Cancer Industry makes $225 Billion/year on their profitable Designer Drugs.
The Pharmaceutical Liars hate you.
@thewittyblessed Shawshank and Forest Gump never left the top 4. Mean Girls pushed out Green Mile and Django pushed out Superbad. Haven’t been blown away by a movie since Django. Mean Girls being in the top is even weird for me. I like serious heart jerking movies but I could watch it on repeat.
@Footbal97545335@SirGruf77@talok253 Agreed it’s awful now but wanted to point that out as it’s never considered. I have friends whose mothers were single some even teenagers and they own their own homes now. It’s impossible now for anyone to buy a home alone starting off.
@commonsenseirl@SirGruf77@talok253 Interests rate were certainly a bitch in the 90's! A lot of people with real estate got skrewed. Still, the housing market is still worst today than it was in that decade
1990: 1 house = 4 years of salary
2000: 1 house = 5 years of salary
2005: 1 house = 7 years of salary
2010: 1 house = 7 years of salary
2019: 1 house = 9 years of salary
2024: 1 house = 12 years of salary
2030: 1 house = 18 years of salary
2040: 1 house …Show more
@Footbal97545335@SirGruf77@talok253 My grandmother bought a house in the 60’s on her own no husband or supports. Interest was low around 5-7% but in the 90’s it was 12% so 60’s great time to buy but 90’s sounds good but people forget the interest rates in this argument.
@SirGruf77@talok253 My grandpa bought his first house in the 60's for 11k. He made 9k annually.
My gf's grandpa was able to raise his entire family of 4, buy a house, support her wife who was raising the kids, all on a general labourer's salary at the local manufacturer.
@SirGruf77@talok253 My uncle told me that the interest was around 12% in the 90’s in Ireland. I think my parents spent 27k on their house in 1989 so £270 on interest every month. They lived on one income. Our summer holidays were in Ireland. The furthest I went was a boat to Wales.
@talok253 This is bogus
1990
Median salary - $21K
Median House price - $122K
Six years salary - 1 house
2025
Median Salary - $61K
Median House Price - $420 K
Seven years salary - 1 house
Has it gone up? A bit, but not like this ridiculous chart shows.
@TomasJHeneghan@daviddinsmore12 Yes it’s a factor on impact but what we have now is really impatient people driving behind someone in the overtaking lane going too slow so the people with no patience make asshat risky moves to get ahead, speed would be a problem if people used in their lanes and off the phones
@daviddinsmore12 It doesn’t help that speed vans are obvious and people tip each other off to speed van locations. If more people were caught for speeding and punished appropriately, we’d definitely be seeing less accidents. A zero tolerance approach to speeding is needed.
39 people have died on our roads so far in 2026. Maybe it’s time to tighten up on who’s allowed drive a car? Introduce a mandatory annual theory and practical test for any licence-holder once they hit 70. Increase the legal age for a license to 23.
@GeorgeDillon@noshiteplease Saw 2 Indians run across the N7 this morning at Citywest at 10am. I was doing 100kmph and it was lashing rain. Deathwish and driver would probably still be blamed
@jaredbustamant4@rishivohra My VW wouldn’t drive me to the hospital but it self drives, brakes repeatedly to wake me up and if that doesn’t work it stops and puts the hazards on.
🚨 My Tesla literally saved my life yesterday. What started as a normal drive turned terrifying fast.
I unintentionally fasted for 17 hours, took some medicine, and had a severe allergic reaction. My body shut down—I passed out while driving on the freeway, mid-conversation with my wife on the phone.
Thank God my Tesla had Full Self-Driving engaged. It detected I lost consciousness (thanks to the driver monitoring system), immediately slowed, activated hazards, and safely pulled over to the shoulder. No crash. No danger to anyone else on the road.
My wife heard me go silent and knew something was wrong. She used @Life360 to alert emergency services—they located me within 5 minutes.
They attended to me enough for me to tell them, 'I don't want to abandon my truck here on the freeway.' So the Tesla autonomously drove me the rest of the way to the ER. I walked in, got admitted, and they stabilized me overnight.
I'm being discharged today—levels back to normal, feeling grateful and alive.
Huge thanks to my incredible wife for staying calm and acting fast, and to @elonmusk@Tesla@tesla for engineering cars that literally protect lives when the driver can't. This isn't just convenience—it's life-saving tech. 🙏⚡❤️
@Glinner Listened to you in the US congressional. You are on the right side of history. Breaks my heart thinking of everything you lost. I can’t comprehend how people disagree. Just think that you dodged a bullet. They have no back bone. Just followers for gain not friends.
@TheCatholicEngr My husband bought a brusher that vacuums up the dogs hair as you brush. I thought it was a gimmick, but it has saved me hours and hours of vacuuming my house and my pup looks great. I love it 😍
@RebeccaChile@tridder46290@TheCatholicEngr I lived in an apartment for a year. Only took matching socks with me and ended up with a bag full of single leaving. We pulled out the beds and couches. No idea where they went. I now buy packs of the same socks like OP said.
@tridder46290@TheCatholicEngr This. I counted 22 unmatched socks in my house yesterday. We moved in September and culled all the unmatched ones then so this represents 5 months sock loss.
🚨 BREAKING: The new Epstein file dump reveals Bill Gates was BEGGING Jeffrey Epstein for antibiotics to discreetly slip to his then-wife Melinda after Bill contracted STDs from s*x with “Russian girls”
WTF?!
Gates also reportedly sent a description of his p*nis to Epstein, the emails reveal.
Bill Gates and Bill Clinton are some really disgusting pigs.
@swanage123@OldHollowTree@SpiritedSparr0w I just made one. It took a full hour of prep and 1.5 hours of cooking and another 15 mins to make the mash, gravy and serve. I don’t mind the effort if I’m not in work but otherwise I’d be eating dinner at 8.30 at night.
What meals do you make for your family about once a week that are easy? I’m trying to add things into my rotation and also be better at meal planning this year. Give me your favorites. Will share my list so far.
So I heard a rumor that doctors never save rice in the refrigerator. I’m wondering why?
Something about food poisoning but now that I survived food poisoning I’m fascinated by it.
Any doctor, Explain it to me.
@SpiritedSparr0w Add chunks of Parmesan cheese. My favourite last minute dinner of the past 20 years and nicer than nothing you will get if an Italian restaurant
@SpiritedSparr0w 5 minute effort dinner that take 20-25 mins overall to make. Boil chicken breasts for 20-25 mins depends on size. 5 mins - Fry pancetta, boil fresh pasta and lightly fry pine nuts at the same time and cut up the boiled chicken while they are cooking. Mix together with fresh pesto
