@NinaPanickssery I can’t imagine the world in 30 years time. Most grandparents will be too old to care for young kids. Will need care themselves and their children will be working full time and trying to care for their children. And that care will be divided by 2 children not 4.

Genuinely curious—why don’t more people use their own parents/kid’s grandparents for childcare as opposed to daycare/preschool/nannies (which seem more common)? Is it common for boomer grandparents to show disinterest in their grandchildren?
