American high school football trivia: we see dozens of life flights every fall from football games. The average cost is between $27k-$41k. If I track more than 3 in one night, typically one doesn’t make it.

TWO more high school football deaths just reported, one from a brain injury suffered August 23 and another who collapsed on the field yesterday. How can anyone consider this cost justified?
