After a 8 year hiatus in Gear, decided to get in a bench shirt. Got to work on something’s but I’m thinking of hitting the platform in May to see what I can do. Can’t let Connor beat his old man.

Connor wrapped up his Freshman year of Powerlifting at Regionals in Arp. Just missed out on medaling by 15lbs. Had the 2nd highest bench in all of the Region in 3A for his weight class.

Connor received a Youth Citizenship Award today from DAR for exhibiting honor, service, courage, leadership and patriotism. This was voted on by teachers and staff at his school. Proud of my Boy!

Connors Fr. year of PLing had a rough start his first 2 Meets, but Saturday in his first Big HS Meet with 18 schools competing he got it together.He finished 4th, PR on Bench 450lbs, finished with 1,300lb Total but most importantly he got his confidence back especially on Squat.

Not how we wanted to finish the season but kids went out fighting till the end. Proud to coach these young men. Finished 18 strong with 12 of those being Freshman. Played 10 games in a row, 6 on the road. Freshman 🏈 for Connor was a grind but now time for Powerlifting.

We host our Halloween 🎃 meet and proud of both my Boys. Declan did great in his Ghostbusters 👻 costume. Connor hit a PR bench of 435lbs and just missed 450lbs. Not bad after playing a football 🏈 game the night before. Only video is his 405lb Opener. @ConnorMacFord

Officially scheduled my Knee Replacement Dec. 17th. Dr told me in the summer to drop 30lbs for the surgery. Down 32lbs since July. Not stopping here, hoping to get to my HS competition weight 220
