Almost half of those Consumer Reports tested, including some formulas made by Bobbie, Earth’s Best, Enfamil, and Similac, were good choices. See how the products performed in our tests and sign up for Crib Notes for more baby safety updates: consumerreports.org/babies-kids/ba…

As a medical school professor, I want every parent to hear this clearly: Consumer Reports tested 41 powdered baby formulas for heavy metals and other contaminants. Key findings: - Lead was detected in almost all formulas (range 1.2–4.2 ppb) - The highest inorganic arsenic levels were 19.7 ppb (EleCare Hypoallergenic) and 15.1 ppb (Similac Alimentum) - 7 of 41 exceeded CR's hazard-quotient threshold for inorganic arsenic (with 2 more close) This isn't about blame. It's about acknowledging the environment we're raising kids in—and how early exposures can set the stage for lifelong metabolic dysfunction. Full breakdown coming on the Health Longevity Secrets podcast. #Toxins #EnvironmentalHealth #MetabolicHealth #Parenting #PublicHealth Source: consumerreports.org/babies-kids/ba…

99% of consumers expect that the products they buy for their home are designed and tested to be safe before they are sold (2023 nationally representative CR survey). Yet recalled or banned products continue to be for sale online. #SafeProductsConfidentConsumers #CR90
