Have any fursuiters tried storing their phone in their Underarmor pocket, or tried a wrist or belt pocket hidden under their suit or similar? I don't like having extra accessories visible on me to hold my phone.

@Tundru_DireWolf I do get the feeling. I've asked myself the same question. But getting a red seal ticket is something to be proud of, you're no less smart than someone with a degree. Our testing might be easier to someone who is book smart. But the trade requires both a strong intellect in math

@copper_shep Like yeah I make really good money and I’m in a union but I just feel so inadequate that I never went to university and got a degree. Like I just want to do it to prove I’m smart and maybe get me off the tools eventually

I guess I'm just really insecure about my lack of formal education (aside from a useless college diploma) >.> even though I'm in the trades and make good money I still want that piece of paper. Growing up being treated like you're not smart messes with you.

@Tundru_DireWolf And different type of smart too. The hand skills and boots on the ground knowledge take much longer to acquire. It is something really difficult to achieve. We sew So many people leave the trades beacouse of it. It's hard and the lifestyle goes with it.

@Tundru_DireWolf The new apprenticeship will let me be home every night. I'm really hoping the switch from construction blue collar to service work brings the change I need.

@Tundru_DireWolf Yeah. Especially being in the trades. We work so much you blink and 6 months have gone by. Been in my house for 5 years now and I've spent most of my time sleeping in hotels and crew house shithole towns in the middle of no where. Make should question yourself.
