I really hope one day I get to become a Marvel Rivals Partner Not because I’m the best at this game. But because I genuinely love this game (sometimes). It came into my life when I needed something to look forward to, gave me a community, inspired me to create content again, and honestly changed my life in ways I never expected. 🎬 Corgtinue Movie Log Something in the Water ⭐ 6/10 This was a pleasant surprise. The cast really put in the work, and I actually liked that we were dealing with… well, just a shark. No mutations, no prehistoric monster, no super-powered killer. Just a shark doing shark things. Surprisingly, I didn’t even think the shark was the strongest part of the movie. The characters and their relationships kept me invested more than I expected. It’s also easily one of the better shark movies to come out in recent years. The downside is that it’s very predictable. If I told you “wedding, friendship, shark,” you could probably guess 90% of the movie. Still, if you’re a shark movie fan, I think this is worth checking out.

I actually wouldn’t mind if they toned down or even removed the auto-tracking primary if it meant she became a deeper, more rewarding hero. I’d love to see bits and pieces of her pre-release kit return. Scarlet Witch has one of the most creative power sets in Marvel, yet her current kit barely scratches the surface. Look at how much personality and variety Jubilee got. Give Wanda more spells. More decision-making. More expression. Let her feel like the reality warper she’s supposed to be. And please… somewhere in her kit, let me hear “No more mutants.” Even if it’s just an ultimate or MVP voice line. As a longtime comic fan, that would be an instant favorite!

@corgtinue while fellow wanda mains ive seen, especially fans of her outside of rivals do not mind if they removed her auto aim if it meant she wont be weak forever. they could give her black cat treatment and give her more spells. atp if theres no rework for her, just add wiccan already

Any Wanda mains feel like she’s significantly weaker than before? I’ve been a Wanda main since Day 1, and while I’m not a pro by any means, this is something I’ve really been feeling. If you choose her Strange Team-Up, you lose Chthonian Burst for the entire match. You cannot touch the enemy backline at all (not as easy as before). The problem is that Chaos Control (primary) usually isn’t enough to finish someone who’s already running away. That’s where Chthonian Burst came in, you could chase down a fleeing target and secure the KO without putting yourself as risk. Without it, if someone disengages, there’s honestly not much you can do. The Strange Team-Up is very short-ranged and doesn’t offer the same finishing power or group damage. You could run the Jubilee Team-Up instead, but that second blast still doesn’t come close to Chthonian Burst in terms of damage. (And yes, I can play other DPS. That’s not what this post is about.) Curious what other Wanda mains think.

@zediekiah As a Wanda main since day one, it’s honestly disappointing. Somehow, with all her lore and power, she has one of the most underwhelming kits in the game. I really thought the Season 9 team-up would finally change that… but somehow she became even worse. 😭 rework one day?

@corgtinue if for some reason this makes wanda broken, just cap the automatic charge to both to half cap when not in use. say if ur on sorcery surge, chthonian burst will passively regain charge but will max at 2 bolts instead of 4. tho imo she shouldve just gotten more creative teamups

@corgtinue the Jubilee team up was definitely more helpful in the game i played her in tonight, i'll be sticking with that one instead of the Strange one for sure! getting used to detonating my bubbles may take a little while to get used to though

I completely agree. Losing Chthonian Burst feels more like a nerf than a team-up upgrade. She was one of my go-to DPS picks for peeling the backline because Burst let you quickly punish divers or secure kills from a distance. Without it, she loses a huge part of her kill pressure. That said, I’d definitely give the Jubilee team-up a try. I actually think it’s Wanda’s best option this season. The healing has been surprisingly useful, and I’d still take it over the Strange team-up any day.

I played a few games with the Jubilee team-up, and I do love the healing. Compared to some of the other team-ups certain heroes get though, it feels a bit underwhelming. Most of the time, when you’re in the vanish state, you’re already safe from damage and can ping your team (or just get back to your healers). That said, I still enjoy the Jubilee team-up way more than the Strange one!!
