when obviously he already knows what a noun is. it's anything that can be loafed in his wonderful little idiolect

but then the list of words is like, 'nut' 'hit' 'cat' 'win' 'bed'. all of which can be nouns in english

my nephew will never understand the sheer glee it gives his linguistics loving aunt to hear him use 'loaf' as the default counter for every bunch of things, as in- "i can't eat this whole loaf of chicken!" "look at all the loaves of dog hair on this brush" it's amazing
