It is humbling to stand amongst other veterans who live in Huntington. It was an honor and a privilege to serve in the US Marine Corps reserve. The Corps has done more for me than I could ever do for the Corps. Happy Veterans Day.

Every veteran lost their strongest shield and sharpest sword in the Senate yesterday. John McCain will always be a model citizen, statesman, and quiet hero.

What a thrill it was to honor the Cold Spring Harbor Girl’s Lacrosse team last night. They worked so hard this year to earn the title of Class C State Champions. This was a first for the girls in our school district’s history! I am so proud of them.

Great seeing so many friends enjoying themselves at Crab Meadow Men’s Club Annual Member Guest. Be sure to get out and enjoy all of our pristine town venues!

Thank you to the Cold Spring Harbor Fire Department, Chief Dan Froehlich, Master of Ceremonies Greg Cergol, and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey Police Pipe Band for making Saturday such a special day. They dedicated a piece of steel from the World Trade Center.
